Decontamination Wash

Your car gets a full two-bucket wash followed by iron fallout remover and tar dissolvent. This strips every contaminate bonded to your paint that a normal wash misses. The coating will not bond properly to a dirty surface, so this step is not optional.

Clay Bar Treatment

A clay bar is worked across every painted panel to pull out embedded particles that washing alone cannot remove. This leaves the surface smooth, clean, and ready to bond. You can feel the difference when you run a finger across the panel.

Paint Correction (Pro Shield and Elite Armor tiers)

A machine polisher removes swirl marks, light scratches, and water etching from your clear coat. This is done before coating, not after. There is no point sealing in defects. The number of stages depends on your chosen tier and your paint's condition.

Ceramic Coating Application

The ceramic coating is applied panel by panel using applicator blocks and levelling cloths. Each layer is given proper flash time before the next. This is the part that cannot be rushed. Done right, the coating cures into a hard, semi-permanent layer directly on your clear coat.

Cure and Final Check

We offer three tiers, Essential Protection, Pro Shield, and Elite Armor, to suit different vehicles and budgets. Pricing depends on your vehicle's size, current paint condition, and the tier you choose. We do not publish set prices because two cars of the same model can need very different prep work. Get a free quote and Michelle will give you a clear number based on your specific car.
That depends on the product used, the number of layers applied, and how the car is maintained. Entry-level coatings typically last one to two years. Our higher tiers use professional-grade products that can last three to five years or more with proper care. We will tell you exactly what to expect for your specific coating during your quote.
Most ceramic coating jobs take a full day, usually six to nine hours depending on the tier and how much paint correction your car needs beforehand. Elite Armor jobs on vehicles requiring heavy correction can run over two days. We will give you a realistic time estimate when we assess your car.
A lot less than an uncoated car. You should avoid washing the car for the first seven days after application while the coating fully cures. After that, regular two-bucket hand washes or touchless washes are recommended. Avoid automatic brush washes as they can scratch the coating. Annual maintenance washes or coating top-ups extend the life significantly.
Warranty coverage varies by the product and tier selected. We will walk you through what is covered at the time of your quote. To keep any warranty valid, the car needs to be maintained correctly, which is why we provide every client with a written care guide at handback.
They do different things. Wax sits on top of your paint and lasts weeks. Ceramic coating chemically bonds to your clear coat and lasts years, giving much stronger UV, chemical, and hydrophobic protection. Paint protection film physically shields against stone chips and deeper scratches, which ceramic coating does not. For most daily drivers in Melbourne's southeast, ceramic coating gives the best long-term protection for the cost. If stone chip protection is a priority, we can talk through film options too.
It depends on your paint's current condition. If your clear coat has swirl marks, scratches, or water etching, the coating will lock those in permanently. For a car in good condition, our Essential Protection tier may be all you need. For anything showing visible defects under direct light, we recommend at least a single-stage polish first.
